Commitment to Conservation Through Non-Profit Contributions

At Sage Leaf Studio, we believe that it’s important to give back to the community and support organizations that are working to conserve the natural world. That’s why we donate 10% of all proceeds to non-profits that share our vision. In this blog post, we’ll take a closer look at three of the non-profits we support and the work they do to promote sustainability and conservation.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is one of the world’s leading conservation organizations. Their mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth. WWF works in over 100 countries and is supported by more than 5 million members worldwide. They focus on a wide range of issues, including climate change, wildlife conservation, and sustainable agriculture.

One of the ways that WWF is working to conserve nature is through their Enduring Earth partnership. This is an ambitious collaboration that works alongside nations as they accelerate and amplify conservation for a more sustainable, prosperous future for people and planet. Central to their approach is Project Finance for Permanence, an innovative and proven model that fully funds conservation projects to ensure durable and scalable impact. Through a combination of partnerships, permanent funding, and local leadership, they strengthen biodiversity, reinforce the rights of Indigenous peoples and local communities, reduce the effects of climate change, and catalyze economic growth. Collaborative partners have applied this approach with five nations, conserving more than 90 million hectares and benefiting tens of thousands of people.

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is another non-profit organization that we support. Their mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. They work in all 50 states in the US and in more than 70 countries around the world. The Nature Conservancy focuses on a wide range of issues, including climate change, freshwater conservation, and sustainable agriculture.

One of the ways that The Nature Conservancy is working to conserve nature is through their Enduring Earth initiative. This is a joint effort with The Pew Charitable Trusts, World Wildlife Fund, and ZOMALAB to protect important habitats at the scale and pace necessary to effectively tackle climate change and biodiversity loss. The initiative aims to protect 30% of the Earth’s land and water by 2030. By working with governments, Indigenous peoples, and local communities, they are able to create lasting solutions that benefit both people and nature.

water.org is a non-profit organization that we support because of their commitment to providing access to clean drinking water and sanitation. Water.org believes that water is the best investment the world can make to improve health, empower women, enable access to education, increase family income, and change lives. They work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to provide access to safe water and sanitation through affordable financing.

One of the ways that Water.org is working to provide access to clean drinking water is through their small loans program. For millions around the world, access to funds stands between them and safe water and sanitation in their homes. Water.org offers smart solutions that break down the financial barriers between people living in poverty and access to safe water and sanitation. Their solutions are working! Today more than 60 million people around the world can turn on a tap or safely use a toilet because small, affordable loans empowered them to get access to safe water and sanitation at home.

Ultimately, supporting non-profits that are working to conserve nature and promote clean drinking water is an important part of our commitment to sustainability. At Sage Leaf Studio, we donate 10% of all proceeds to non-profits that share our vision. We support organizations like World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, and Water.org because of the important work they do to promote sustainability and conservation. By working together, we can create a more sustainable future for everyone.
